Following Benin, Servair makes official its partnership with AMAP Togo with the support of Acting for Life.

Servair confirms its partnership with AMAP Togo and is committed to supplying organic fruit and vegetables for 3 years from the association's 20 producers.

It was first in Benin that Servair joined Acting for Life last year to promote the organic produce of an AMAP* grouping 250 producers. The contract signed with Servair for the supply of fruit juices and the support provided to producers by Acting for Life teams (training, farm improvements, provision of equipment and vehicles, etc.) has enabled the number of AMAP members to increase by 8% and its turnover by 40%.

In Togo, where the agricultural sector employs 2/3 of the population but suffers from a low value of local products in the face of strong competition from imported products, training and material aid are also offered. The contract signed with Servair should enable AMAP to improve its results.

In 2020, Servair will continue to develop these two partnerships and plans to establish new ones in Burkina Faso and Côte d'Ivoire.

*AMAP = Association for the Maintenance of Peasant Agriculture and in particular local agriculture.
