Air France and Servair, partners of the 2013 Bocuse d’Or Academy

academiebocuseAir France and Servair, the leading air transport logistics company in France and 3rd worldwide, are sponsoring the French Academy of the 2013 Bocuse d’Or cooking contest.
This partnership illustrates Air France’s commitment to offer its passengers moments of truly French art-de-vivre. The partnership also forms part of Servair’s strategy regarding its culinary identity and is in line with actions that Servair undertakes in the field of gastronomy, particularly in collaboration with great chefs.
Chaired by François Adamski, the Academy brings previous French winners of the contest together, and will be supporting Thibault Ruggeri, a young chef from the Lenôtre school and winner of the national rounds, throughout his preparation and on the day of the final competition.
The Bocuse d’Or is an international cooking contest that was founded by French chef Paul Bocuse in January 1987. 24 chefs from 24 countries take part, after winning the knock-out rounds in their respective countries.
The final international round will take place in Lyon on 29 and 30 January 2013, during the SIRHA tradeshow, where the chefs will compete for the Bocuse d’Or trophy.
