Servair initiates the return of Burger King in Martinique at Aimé Césaire Airport in Fort de France

Servair, the French market leader and third-largest company worldwide in airline catering and logistics, on April 15th, opened the first Burger King restaurant in Martinique, located opposite Martinique Aimé Césaire International Airport in Fort-de-France. Present to witness the event was Jérôme Ceccaldi, Servair's Executive Vice President France & Asia.

Marking the brand's return to the Caribbean, and its first ever outlet in Martinique, the opening of this new unit is consistent with Servair's development strategy and its ambition to expand its airport service offering. Already present in 43 locations worldwide, the new operation strengthens the company's position in the airport catering market.

In July 2012, in partnership with local group Monplaisir, Servair won an exclusive 10-year contract to manage and operate the various catering outlets and points of sale (café-bars and vending machines) at the Fort de France passenger terminal.

In November 2013, the opening of the Air Lounge Café in the departure lounge marked the first step in the implementation of this project. In total, landside and airside catering outlets will occupy an area covering 1,400 m2.
