servair-gabonServair Gabon provided the catering for the election of Miss Gabon, an event held at the Cité de la Démocratie in Libreville on December 29.

540 guests were able to sample dishes prepared by Servair GABON. These included the international football star SAMUEL ETO’O, Malika BONGO-DOSSOU, President of the Miss Gabon Committee, Leila Lopes, Miss Universe 2011, in addition to big names from the Gabonese government.

Servair Gabon deployed its full resources in addition to 55 waiters for the occasion, with a menu including semi-cooked escalope of foie gras and quenelle of fresh pineapple chutney, gingerbread and caramel melba bread fingers with balsamic vinegar.

These teams planned the preparation of all dishes in advance at the centre, using their extensive knowledge of "optimal temperature" sous vide cooking and laid out some 1620 place settings at the venue including 540 warm dishes, all served hot.

This evening event further demonstrated Servair’s expertise as an event caterer. Among others, the company provided catering for the Gabonese Employers’ Confederation in June 2011 during its summer conferences.

Following the summer conferences of the Gabonese Employers’ Confederation in June and the election of Miss Gabon, Servair Gabon is now preparing to contribute its unique expertise as an event caterer for the ACN 2012 (the Africa Cup of Nations) which will begin in mid-January and will last for 4 sports-packed weeks.
