As part of its drive to expand in the Southern Europe and Africa (SEA) region, gategroup announces the appointment of Guy Zacklad as Managing Director of servair & subsidiaries, responsible for catering and cleaning activities in mainland France, overseas territories and Africa.
Servair will report to gategroup’s Southern Europe and Africa (SEA) region, headed by Sébastien Burnier, who will retain his position as Chief Operating Officer of gategroup and member of the Group Executive Committee.
About Guy Zacklad: Guy Zacklad has held several management positions at Air France, most recently as Director of the CDG Hub and Ground Operations. Prior to joining Air France, he held positions in the French civil service, notably as Senior Advisor to the Minister of Employment and to the Minister of Industry.
Guy Zacklad is a graduate of the Ecole Normale Supérieure in mathematics and a Corps des Mines engineer.
About Sébastien Burnier: Prior to joining gategroup, Sebastien Burnier worked for the SATS group, where he was in charge of operations, transformation and the roll-out of operational excellence and team cohesion initiatives. Over the past 20 years, Sébastien Burnier has held management positions in the fields of quality, supply chain and, more generally, operations management.
He holds an engineering degree from the Conservatoire National des Arts et Métiers in Paris and is certified in production and logistics management by the Association For Supply Chain Management.
