Chef Ryuji Teshima on board a Japan Airlines flight

On December 5, chef Ryuji Teshima boarded a Japan Airlines flight to Tokyo to showcase some of his creations. Owner of the Michelin-starred “Pages” restaurant in Paris, the chef is currently responsible for the airline’s Western menus in Business and Première classes.

During this flight, assisted by servair Chef Jonathan Cruz, Chef Teshima took part in plating and serving his dishes with the flight crew. During his exchanges with passengers, the Chef was able to evoke his inspirations and his love for French gastronomy; Chef Teshima has always been fascinated by French cuisine and has spent his entire career in France.

On arrival, Ryuji Teshima and Jonathan Cruz were invited to visit the company’s catering unit (JAL Royal Catering), where a tasting of the new menus on departure from Tokyo was organized.

Greatly appreciated by the company and its passengers, this operation also aroused the enthusiasm of the chef, who is now ready to repeat the experience!
