servair engages its employees in the entertaining Energic challenges designed to reduce its carbon footprint

PressCommitmentJanuary 2020

Since January 20, 2020, all employees of servair, France’s leading airline catering and cabin cleaning company and a member of gategroup, have been taking part in a fun environmental challenge run by Energic, a young company specializing in the evolution of eco-responsible practices. Over the course of a year, they will be challenged to adopt eco-responsible behavior in the workplace, using the Energic application.

Challenge environnemental Servair

As part of its CSR policy, servair is committed to reducing its carbon footprint to combat climate change. Just as it is working with its customers to eliminate single-use plastics, recycle beverage packaging and combat food waste, servair also wants to raise awareness among its employees, so that they can reduce their impact on the environment in their day-to-day activities.

An environmental challeange based on a fun and educational concept

Energic has developed a digital awareness-raising and animation tool for employees, focusing on the main environmental issues (energy, mobility, food waste, waste, digital, water, etc.). Using the application, players, divided into tribes, are invited to carry out individual or collective missions, earning them experience or team points, as well as totems. This gamification (the use of game mechanisms in learning situations), put at the service of sustainable development, is a powerful lever for positive action.
