servair congratulates Air France on its 2023 title of “Best Airline Catering for First Class” awarded by Skytrax.
Paris, June 21, 2023 – servair, the French and African leader in in-flight catering and a subsidiary of gategroup, congratulates Air France on being named “Best In-Flight Catering in First Class” by Skytrax at this year’s World Airlines Awards ceremony.
We’re proud to contribute to the quality of Air France’s in-flight product from its Paris base, and to champion the gastronomic image of its First Class, which won this year’s Skytrax award.

High quality in-flight catering is deeply rooted in Air France and servair, which were the first to call on Michelin-starred chefs to offer travelers an exceptional culinary experience. servair created the Studio Culinaire Servair with Joël Robuchon in 2009, paving the way for other prestigious collaborations in Air France’s first class, such as in 2022, with Arnaud Lallement, Régis Marcon, Anne-Sophie Pic and Michel Roth.
In 2023, Air France entrusted its’ menus on departure from Paris to Mauro Colagreco, Arnaud Lallement, Régis Marcon and Emmanuel Renaut, as well as to exceptional pastry chefs such as Angelo Musa and Philippe Urraca. These chefs rely on servair’s expertise to pass on their cuisine and make Air France the ambassador of French gastronomy.
Skytrax is an international air transport rating agency which, since 1999, has been organizing the World Airline Awards ceremony, nicknamed the “Oscars of the aviation industry”. Travelers around the world vote in the world’s largest airline passenger satisfaction survey to determine the winners of this ceremony. Customers from more than 100 nationalities took part in the 2022/2023 online survey, and over 20 million opinions were tallied in the results. More than 325 airlines were included in the final results.
