Servair committed to greater diversity in aviation professions

NewsCommitmentSeptember 2025

Since 2022, servair has been a signatory to the ‘Féminisons les métiers de l’aéronautique et du spatial’ (Let’s feminise the aeronautics and space industries) charter, an initiative led by Airemploi and supported by GIFAS and the French Ministries of Transport, Economy and Labour.

This charter aims to increase the presence of women in sectors that are still too male-dominated, particularly in technical, operational and engineering professions. Because beyond the issue of equality, gender diversity is also a lever for performance, diversity and attractiveness for the entire industry.

By adhering to this charter, servair undertakes to:

  • Promote a culture of professional equality and contribute to a sectoral observatory on gender equality;
  • Identify professions in need of more women and set targets for progress;
  • Promote women’s career paths and actively combat stereotypes;
  • Share best practices with other committed companies;
  • Participate in collective actions labelled ‘Féminisons’ (Let’s feminise), particularly those aimed at young people, schoolchildren and job seekers.

Our ambition is clear: to make all our professions more accessible to women, at all levels, and from an early age. We believe it is essential to show that a career in aviation, airport operations or in-flight catering is possible, regardless of your background.
