It is with immense pride that we announce Servair Benin’s victory in the second edition of the “Top Chef – Eurocham Bénin” culinary competition, held on March 14, 2025 at the residence of the European Union ambassador.
Organized by the European Chamber of Commerce in Benin (Eurocham Bénin), in partnership with the French Embassy, the competition aims to promote culinary excellence and showcase young talent in the catering sector. This year, students from six culinary schools in Cotonou competed in the final, demonstrating their skills by creating a dish and dessert from a set basket.
The jury, presided over by Michelin-starred chef Georgiana Viou, awarded victory to servair Bénin, which stood out with a superb dessert combining avocado and sapodilla (a stone fruit from Benin).
According to Babacar Junior Thiaw, production manager at servair Bénin, this victory is the fruit of a collective effort:
